☑️ On August 7, 2024, the provincial Government of New Brunswick announced a comprehensive action plan to bolster the early learning and childcare sector.

🔸 Spanning from 2023 to 2026, the plan delineates key objectives and priorities, aligning with three federal agreements: the Canada-New Brunswick Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreement, the Canada-New Brunswick Early Learning and Child Care Bilateral Agreement, and the Canada-New Brunswick Early Learning and Child Care Infrastructure Funding Agreement.

✏️ Education and Early Childhood Development Minister Bill Hogan highlighted significant progress, including adding 3,400 childcare spaces, updated wage grids for educators, and a notable reduction in turnover rates among early childhood educators.
