🚨 Important Update: Hard-to-Fill Skills Pilot Closure 🚨

Effective August 30, 2024, the Hard-to-Fill Skills Pilot will be permanently closed.

What You Need to Know:

1️⃣ Reason for Closure:
The closure aims to ensure positive settlement and retention outcomes for newcomers and streamline the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) by eliminating duplication.

2️⃣ Pending Job Approval Forms:
If your employer submitted a Job Approval Form before August 30, 2024, it will be processed as usual under the guidelines in place at the time of submission.

3️⃣ Submitted Applications:
Applications with a valid Candidate-Specific Job Approval Letter will be processed to completion.

4️⃣ Haven't Applied Yet?
Consider other immigration pathways like SINP’s Skilled Worker with Existing Work Permit, Health Talent, or Agriculture Talent Pathway. Use the Program Selector to find the best alternative for your occupation.

5️⃣ Support for Affected Applicants:
Information sessions for affected applicants and employers will be held in September 2024, with more details to come.
