Post-Graduation Work Permits (PGWP) are available to international students who complete an eligible education program in Canada. International graduates can get either one year or three years of PGWP
duration upon completing their studies in Canada.

◾️What is the New Field of Study requirement for PGWP eligibility about?

For college or other university graduates, they’ll need to have graduated from certain programs related to

📍agriculture,
📍transport,
📍trades or
📍science, engineering, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) to be the eligible for PGWP.

◾️How about degree programs?

Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree and PhD university graduates will not be affected by this new policy regardless of their program of study.
