If your husband, wife, or partner has a study or work permit, you may be able to apply for a spousal open work permit (SOWP) after entering Canada.
Other situations where you can apply for open work permit after entry;
- family member of protected persons
- family member temporary residence permit holders
- spousal sponsorship PR applicants in Canada class.
You still need to meet other eligibility requirements.
