Infernal Hordes is Diablo 4's take on "Greater Rifts" from Diablo 3. Every few levels you gain past max level allows you to access a higher difficulty tier of the Hordes. Each run consists of 10 waves that steadily increase in difficulty. Your main objective is to survive all 10 waves while defeating as many enemies as possible to gain rewards.

The top reward tiers require you to defeat over 100 enemies to earn special cosmetic rewards and materials to craft high-level Legendary gems. Reaching wave 10 on the highest difficulties is no easy task and requires careful planning and an optimized build.
